CrossFit at Rapture Fitness

What makes CrossFit superior and so addictive?

One reason why CrossFit is one of the strongest fitness brands in recent years is its unique platform. CrossFit aims to provide a holistic approach to health, performance and happiness. The training program is performed at high-intensity levels, forcing the body to push its boundaries. This means that your body burns more calories and converts the stored fats into energy to fuel the workout. CrossFit also aims to increase performance in sports or in any discipline that requires physical strength. The workouts are so effective because they emphasise load, distance and speed.

However, CrossFit is not only popular because of its extreme workout routine styles, but also its community support. The CrossFit community makes fitness fun and challenging at the same time. Routines are performed in groups and the sense of belongingness encourages each one to support and motivate the other.

An equally important factor that makes CrossFit addictive is its Workout Of The Day (WOD). WOD CrossFit is the highlight of the training program because it includes the set of routines needed to accomplish on a daily basis. The routines cover a variety of movements and training styles that are timed and done at high intensity.

What is WOD Crossfit?

The WOD is designed to challenge CrossFitters regardless of age or fitness level. Even the fittest or athletic person is required to take part in the activity whether in private or in groups. Because CrossFit is a combination of gymnastics, weight lifting, aerobics and callisthenics, there are thousands of routines that you could perform. And this makes WOD interesting and effective.

The randomness of the workouts creates a fresh and new challenge that must be accomplished. Additionally, WOD CrossFit enables the individual to assess his or her abilities pertaining to the workout. The routines must be performed in the shortest amount of time with constant repetitions, thereby conditioning the body to adapt to the pressure and force. The high-intensity workouts move the body in full motion and require muscles to perform at their highest capacity.

Nevertheless, all CrossFit workouts can be modified to fit a person’s capacity. The loads, repetitions, time and distance can be adjusted to your level.

One of the most practical uses of WOD is that it is not designed for a specific sport or specific training. Even if you are not an athlete, the WOD CrossFit can have a positive impact on your fitness goals. With consistent repetitions, your overall physical health improves in strength, stamina, endurance, flexibility, balance, coordination, speed and accuracy.

WOD CrossFit You Can Do At Home
