Welcome to InnerWest CrossFit
Formerly known as Rapture Fitness, InnerWest CrossFit was founded in 2019 by Alanna and Simon McDowell—built from a passion for functional fitness, community, and living a balanced, healthy life.
What started as a grassroots, park-based boot camp has grown into a thriving strength and conditioning gym in the heart of Lilyfield. Our mission? To help everyday people move better, feel stronger, and build a lifestyle they love. transforming not only bodies but also mindsets.

WHat we do…
At InnerWest CrossFit, we offer structured, high-energy classes designed to help you move better, build strength, and improve your fitness for life.
Daily classes run Monday to Saturday, including:
✔ WODs – Strength or skill followed by a High-intensity workout that will challenge and improve overall fitness
✔ Strength – Focused sessions to build power, control, and movement quality
✔ Engine – Cardiovascular endurance training to boost stamina and performance
✔ Comp Prep – For athletes looking to refine skills and push to the next level
✔ Open Gym – Flexible time to train at your own pace

Gymnastics & Bodyweight Training
We train real, functional strength using bodyweight movements like squats, push-ups, pull-ups, burpees, and handstands.
By using rings, bars, ropes, and boxes, we help you build strength, balance, and control—without needing heavy weights.
This type of training improves coordination, flexibility, endurance, and power, making you stronger and more capable in everyday life.
Olympic Lifting
We incorporate the Olympic lifts, Snatch and Clean & Jerk into our strength and workout programming. These lifts build power, speed, coordination, and technique, making you a stronger, more explosive athlete—both in and out of the gym.
HIIT & Conditioning
Our training includes high-intensity workouts (HIIT) and aerobic conditioning to improve endurance, stamina, and energy output. Whether it's short bursts of intensity or longer endurance sessions, this training helps you perform better in workouts—and in daily life.
